H A N N A H – M I C H E L L E B A Y L E Y
Originally from Greater Manchester, I studied my undergraduate at Goldsmiths, University of London and gained a 1st class honours in Media and communications with a specialisation in illustration in 2015. I currently reside in Whirley, a village in the north of England and I am studying an MA in illustration at Manchester School of Art.
I primarily identify as an illustrator, with a focus on current social issues such as mental health and the intersection of femininity and disability. My mediums of choice are gouache paint and watercolours, but I’m currently working on a collaboration The Embodied experience of Disability involving hand embroidery. I am always interested in collaborating as I think it produces the richest work, so feel free to contact me!
